QKSL (Queen's of King Softball League) was established in 2015 and was created for the women of King Township and the surrounding areas as a recreational softball league.
Softball for some of us has been an activity we have enjoyed since our early childhood, for others the sport is new and challenging. We offer a means for women to come out and enjoy a few hours away from home, to catch her breath, enjoy a little challenge and have a whole lot of fun.
Our ultimate goal is to provide a fun and safe environment where women can learn, develop and grow their softball skills.
The purpose of the QKSL shall be:

However, we maintain an official waiting list for individual players looking for teams or for new squads in the event of a withdrawal.
If you are one of our 12 confirmed teams, please note that we have updated the league model for the 2026 season. To streamline operations and ensure full coverage, we have moved to a comprehensive Team Fee structure.
What the Team Fee Covers ($2,600)
The Team Fee is paid by the Captain or a designate to secure the squad's spot; how these funds are collected or divided among players is strictly an internal team matter. This inclusive fee covers full liability insurance for the entire team roster, all municipal field permits, hydro lighting, and professional field maintenance. On game days, the league provides professional umpires and all necessary league equipment, backed by year-round league administrative support including roster management, dispute resolution, and league-wide communications. Our primary administrative goal is to provide all teams in both divisions with balanced playing time across available fields and a fair rotation of time slots; however, please note that while we strive for perfect parity, schedules remain subject to change due to weather-related makeups, city permit adjustments, or unforeseen facility issues. The league reserves the right to adjust field assignments and time slots as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the season.

Payment Methods
To maintain a stable 12-team schedule and ensure all administrative and insurance requirements are met, we strictly enforce the following timelines:
As a sanctioned league, QKSL continues to strictly enforce all mandatory insurance and safety requirements.
Every player entering the field must be registered with SPN and have a signed waiver on file via https://slo-pitch.com/login.
While the team fee covers the policy costs, individual insurance coverage is only activated once the waiver is signed.
No player may step onto the field of play until this legal requirement is verified.
By completing your registration, you agree to abide by the standards set by Slo-Pitch National (SPN) and the QKSL Code of Conduct.
This ensures our rules meet national safety requirements and provides all participants with official insurance coverage.
Captains remain responsible for ensuring their entire squad has completed this digital sign-off.
To maintain our insurance standing and city field access, no exceptions will be made for unregistered participants.
DEADLINE: Friday, May 1st at 11:59 PM.All online Play Slo-Pitch Waivers must be completed by this time to be "Locked In" for the season schedule.
